Rich grew up in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and upon graduating high school, enrolled at William Carey College (now William Carey University) in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He began serving Sunrise Baptist Church in Petal, Mississippi as Minister to Students just a few months afterward. Between then and now, Rich has served in that same capacity at Harrisville Baptist Church, Church of the Highlands, and is blessed to be the Minister to Students and Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church in Terry, Mississippi. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Belhaven College in Jackson, MS.
Rich met his amazing wife, Cheri on a blind date, and now they are happily married with two daughters, Mackenzie and Mallory. So, be really careful with those blind dates...you never know where they will lead!

Rocky is a native of Richland, Mississippi, and served at First Baptist Church of Richland as a high school student worship leader and Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl, Mississippi as an adult before coming to FBC Terry. Rocky also currently leads worship and directs the praise band for Hinds Community College’s Baptist Student Union and has led worship for numerous events and ministries throughout the southeast. Rocky has a true gift for leading musical worship and loves to lead students to the presence of God through music.
